Hi, I’m Leslie, a licensed clinical psychologist
And I believe that true healing and lasting change start by turning inward.
Rooted in authentic care
I’m committed to creating a space where you feel grounded, seen, and safe to be fully yourself. I bring genuine warmth, a calm presence, and a spirit of open curiosity to every session. My goal is not to "fix" you, but to understand your experience—together, at your pace. Therapy with me is a space to reflect, feel, and grow in a way that honors your full humanity.
My approach
I practice from a relational psychodynamic and attachment-based lens, which means we look beyond surface-level symptoms to understand how early patterns and relational dynamics continue to shape your present-day emotional life. Our work is rooted in the belief that meaningful, lasting change happens through deepening self-awareness and co-creating new relational experiences—including the relationship we build together in therapy.
I also draw from family systems therapy, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care to support each patient’s unique identity and needs. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, trauma, neurodivergence, or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers a space to make sense of your story—and begin reshaping it in a direction that feels more aligned.
My background as a yoga teacher and dedicated meditation practitioner further inform my spacious, intentional, and sincere approach to therapy. I also believe in the healing power of laughter and incorporate humor in sessions to help navigate difficult moments and create space for perspective amidst life’s challenges.
In the therapy room
Patients often describe me as intuitive, engaged, and gently direct. I bring my full presence into the room—authentic, curious, and thoughtful—and I don’t expect you to be anyone other than who you are. Our work together is grounded in deep acceptance and non-judgment, while also supporting you in accessing your strengths and building upon them.
You can expect a collaborative, insight-oriented process that both honors where you are and challenges you toward the growth you seek—whatever that may look like for you. We’ll celebrate the wins and stay curious about the stuck points, always working toward a more grounded and authentic version of yourself.
Education and training
I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, and B.A.s in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I’ve received advanced clinical training across the country—including the Bay Area, Chicago, and Boulder—working with individuals across the lifespan, as well as couples and families.
My training includes relational psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, family systems therapy, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care. I’ve provided therapy in community clinics, private practices, and school settings—including a therapeutic day school and a public high school. These diverse training environments have enriched my clinical perspective and deepened my respect for the resilience, complexity, and individuality of every patient I encounter.
Outside of the office
Outside the therapy room—and in our great state of Colorado—you may find me circling the Trader Joe’s parking lot, riding the Super Bee at Copper Mountain, or chasing my partner up Royal Arch Trail in Chautauqua.
